DESCRIPTION:Location: Northeast Community College Zoom and Online\n\nThe course is offered Hybrid with 22 hours online and 23 hours Live Zoom \n\nCost: $550\n\nCourse Description: The medical interpreter course aims to prepare students for healthcare interpretation tests to be certified by providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively communicate in medical settings.\n\nCourse Length: 45 hours    Course Delivery: Hybrid Virtual\n\nPrerequisite: 18 years or older\, Min. HS diploma or equivalent. Oral proficiency in English with approved test\, Oral proficiency in target language (Spanish) with approved exam.\n\n\n\nAssessment and Certification: \n\nParticipants will be evaluated through quizzes\, practical exercises\, and a final exam to ensure comprehension of the course material.
