Initial Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop Business Plan for the year with the Operator and share with Executive Leadership Team defining all goals and a plan to reach them
  • Overall Sales Goals/Growth Plan
  • Catering & Beyond the Restaurant (BTR) Goals/Execution
  • Promotions & Events Goals/Execution
  • Mobile Platform (CFA app) service Goals/Execution
  • Hospitality Plan/Execution
  • Meet with Executive Leadership Team bi-weekly & with S&BG Team weekly
  • Embody & share Vision to your team (Make a SIGNIFICANT POSITIVE IMPACT)
  • Embody & share Chick-fil-A Vision, Values, & Corporate Purpose to your team
  • Recruit, Train, & Develop SBG Team in collaboration with Talent Director & GM
    • Catering Director
      • Assistant Catering Director
      • Delivery Drivers
      • Order Fulfillment (Directors/Shift Leaders)
    • Events & Promotions Director
    • Mobile Service Director
    • Digital & Social Media Coordinator
    • Hospitality Manager
  • Collaborate with Training Director on implementing Marketing Training into all FOH Team Members
  • Perform Evaluations for SBG Team
  • Coach all Team Members on a Marketing Mindset, Hospitality First, & making a Significant Positive Impact
Quality & Customer Experience
  • Ensure that all events & catering that we do are done with EXCELLENCE and are 1st class in hospitality & service, exceeding customer expectations before, during, and after their event
  • Ensure all deliveries follow Catering SOP and that Food Safety and Quality are of 1st importance
  • Ensure that the SBG Team collaborates with Operations in a timely manner to ensure a quality experience for both clients and the business
  • Ensure proper use of all Chick-fil-A equipment and that we represent the brand in the highest regard
Sales & Brand Growth
  • Work with SBG Team to develop professionally scripted Marketing Events every month
  • Grow the business outside our 4 Walls (Catering, ADP’s, ODD, Events, Employment Brand)
  • Establish Goals & Strategic Objectives in 3 Sales Categories
    • Transaction Count
    • Check Average
    • Outside Sales (Beyond the Restaurant (BTR))
  • Create After Action Report from all Marketing Events
  • Ensure all POP materials are in place before deadline
  • Be active/aware in the community (Air Guard/Reserves, schools, Hospitals, Chamber, charities, etc.)
Financial Return
  • Be a faithful steward of the Marketing Budget
  • Show on paper how Events & Promotions effect the top/bottom line (ROI)
