IMKO is recruiting Diesel Mechanics for our client company, in the Sioux City, IA area. This position is a permanent position. Diesel Mechanic work requires long periods of standing, bending, squatting, twisting etc., and is very physical work. In this line of work, Diesel Mechanic will inspect vehicles, perform routine service, and keep records of work done. Day-to-day duties expected of Diesel Mechanic include the analysis of trucks, forklifts, trailers, etc. to determine what is wrong in unique circumstances, the use of testing equipment following repairs to ensure that diesel powered vehicles are safe to drive. 
 
This position does require a valid driver’s license.
**** MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS 

 Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities are, however, will not be limited to:
 
  1. Rebuild, replace, or repair vehicle parts such as engines, brakes, transmission lines, electrical assemblies, and accessories.
  2. Use diagnostic equipment to evaluate mechanical problems in vehicles.
  3. Running diagnostic test on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions
  4. Conducting field visits in case of an emergency or sudden breakdown 
  5. Performs tune ups, brake jobs, and other preventative maintenance on cars, trucks, buses, and other powered rolling equipment; replaces common parts and makes adjustments 
  6. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
 
What you will make as a Diesel Mechanic:
Pay $25 + DOE
