The Dakota County Star is expanding in 2026 and needs a bilingual (English/Spanish) creative talent who will do the following:
— Help communicate with our Spanish-speaking customer base
— Sell advertising (primarily to Spanish-speaking business owners, but will help in other areas)
— Assist in coverage of local (South Sioux City/Dakota County) news and events with a focus on Latino-themed events. (Photography and journalism skills welcome, but not required.)
— Other duties as necessary.
Job will be 20-25 hours per week to start. Pay is $15 an hour to start, with possible bonuses depending on quality of work. More hours and potential full-time employment are possible.
