We are looking for a compassionate, resourceful, and bilingual (Spanish/English) Family Support Professional to join our team. This position provides parenting education, family support, advocacy, and connections to community resources through home visits, virtual services, group classes, and childcare settings.

What You'll Do
As a Family Support Professional, you will:
- Provide short-term guidance, support, and parenting education to families through home visits, virtual services, and group settings.
- Build trusting relationships with parents and caregivers while supporting their individual goals.
- Facilitate individual and group parenting education classes.
- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of community resources and services available to families.
- Help families access resources related to healthcare, insurance, childcare, financial assistance, and other areas of need.
- Assist families with accessing programs such as Medicaid, Hawk-I, and other available funding or insurance resources.
- Advocate for families and help remove barriers to accessing needed services.
- Promote and facilitate the use of the Family Resource Center within childcare settings and throughout the community.
- Collaborate with educators, childcare providers, neighborhood organizations, and other community service providers.
- Provide developmental, prevention, and health-related information to parents and caregivers.
- Work collaboratively with other Family Support Professionals to develop effective strategies for addressing family needs.
- Participate in interdisciplinary consultation and collaboration.
- Assist in childcare classrooms at various locations as needed.
- Provide or arrange transportation for clients when needed.
- Complete required documentation and data collection accurately and within established timelines.
- Participate in supervision, staff meetings, trainings, and other professional development opportunities.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client and agency information.
- Follow the Social Work Code of Ethics and Crittenton Center's Code of Ethics.

- Is knowledgeable about or willing to learn about community resources and services.
Education & Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field and experience working with young children and families is preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Candidates must also:
- Have a valid driver's license and a driving record that qualifies for agency automobile coverage.
- Successfully complete required criminal background and child abuse/neglect checks.
- Complete an agency-required physical examination, including a TB test.
- Study for and successfully complete the Family Support National Certification Exam within one year of hire.
Work Environment & Schedule
This is a full-time hybrid position, with work taking place in the Family Resource Center, childcare programs, community partner locations, and family homes.
The typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., although occasional evening or extended hours may be required based on program and family needs.
Local travel during the workday is expected, with occasional overnight travel.
The position may involve sitting, standing, walking, driving, facilitating group classes, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 20 pounds.
