Sioux City, IA (April 23, 2026) – Join us for an unforgettable night as Tony and Grammy Award winning performer Leslie Odom, Jr. joins the stage for a special performance with the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra at the historic Orpheum Theatre in Sioux City, IA on Saturday, September 19 at 7:30PM.  
Tickets go on sale to the public this Friday, April 24 at 10:00AM. Tickets can be purchased at OrpheumLive.com or by visiting the Primebank Box Office at the Tyson Events Center.
 
About Leslie Odom, Jr.:
Leslie Odom, Jr. is a Tony and Grammy Award-winning actor, vocalist, and songwriter, widely recognized for his breakout role as Aaron Burr in the original Broadway production of Hamilton. His performance earned him the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical and a Grammy Award as a principal soloist on the original cast recording.
 
A multifaceted performer across stage, film, television, and music, Odom has also received Academy Award, Emmy, BAFTA, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild nominations. He earned widespread acclaim—and multiple award nominations—for his portrayal of Sam Cooke in One Night in Miami..., for which he also co-wrote and performed the Oscar-nominated song “Speak Now.” Most recently, Odom returned to Broadway to star in and co-produce Purlie Victorious: A Non-Confederate Romp Through the Cotton Patch, which opened to critical acclaim in September 2023. His additional film and television credits include Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, The Many Saints of Newark, and voice work in Central Park.
A Grammy Award-winning recording artist, Odom has released multiple albums, including his latest, When A Crooner Dies (2023). He has performed at prestigious events and venues including the White House, the Super Bowl, the Academy Awards, and Lincoln Center. In addition to his work on stage and screen, Odom is a published author of the inspirational book Failing Up: How to Take Risks, Aim Higher and Never Stop Learning.
