Description
Learn how the American Red Cross makes a difference in the community through the generosity of Disaster Action Team (DAT) volunteers. These volunteers respond to local emergencies, most frequently home fires. Join us on Saturday, August 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the American Red Cross, 401 Douglas St., Suite 101, Sioux City, IA, for a free, hands-on workshop. Open to anyone interested in learning how DAT members serve others, this training introduces the role of a DAT volunteer, client care and service delivery, and how the Red Cross supports families affected by home fires. To reserve your spot, email Ashton.Schaefer@redcross.org.
