IMKO is Recruiting a Supervisor Assistant / Forklift operator for a busy warehouse in the Tri State area. The client is seeking someone that would be able to step up and be designated in charge while Warehouse Manager is out.  Previous leader experience, strong technical skills and has excellent communication skills.  This position does require previous sit-down lift experience. The client provides co-packing, warehousing, distribution and fulfillment services and are a valued supply chain link.
 
*** MUST Have Valid Driver’s License
*** MUST Pass Drug Pre- Employment Drug Screen and Background Check
***Steel Toed Boots are required
 
 Requirements of the Supervisor Assistant / Forklift Operator
 
  • Warehouse operations include accurate and efficient receiving, slotting, shipping, inventory management, and organization of administrative areas.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment to load and unload materials, and transport products to storage areas, docks, and trucks.
  • Ensure adherence to established processes and procedures that meet customer expectations and align with company-wide best practices.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully
  • Process stock and orders using RF scanner technology and occasionally utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to enter, track and manage inventory.
  • Inspect materials for defects or quality issues, document inspections, and ensure corrective actions are taken when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing pallet areas, shelves, and aisles.
 
Requirements:
  • Certified Forklift Operator with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Previous responsibilities leading people and operations as a lead or filling in coverage not required but preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF scanners
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with leadership, team members, and occasionally customers
  • Ability to operate power tools and warehouse equipment as needed
  • Physical ability to work in a warehouse environment, lift up to 50 lbs., and operate forklifts and/or trucks

Schedule hours: M-F, 7:30 am - 4 pm
Starting Pay: $20-$22
