$50 Million in Grants:
Fueling American Skills and Rebuilding Local Manufacturing
by Brad Zaun (SBA Regional Administrator - Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska)

We all remember the backbone of this country—the skilled hands, the innovative minds, and the resilient small businesses that build our modern life. Right now, those foundations are getting a vital boost through targeted support from the SBA’s Empower to Grow (E2G) Program. This isn't just about grants; it's about reinvesting in people and places. By directing crucial resources to regional and national training providers, we are making sure that American manufacturing doesn't just survive—it thrives.
The magic of the Manufacturing in America E2G Grant Initiative is its focus on connection. It’s designed to be a true growth partnership. Regional and national organizations receive the resources to offer hands-on training—from mastering advanced robotics to streamlining daily operations or navigating tough compliance hurdles. Whether it’s aerospace, food processing, metal fabrication, or construction equipment, if an American industry needs support, there is a pathway through this program.
This effort relies on broad-scale coordination. If your business wants to be part of this resurgence, here is what you need to know right now:
Are you prepared to assist in the teaching process? Proposals for the E2G Grant must be submitted electronically via www.grants.gov by June 15 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
Webinars: Join one of our free informational webinars on May 27th or June 3rd.
This support is part of a bigger commitment. The SBA is making sure that resources like loan guarantees and simplified programs are available to help small manufacturers keep growing, keeping jobs local, and strengthening America's footing on the global stage.
We are building this future together. If you have questions or to learn more, reach out directly to e2g@sba.gov. Let’s build America’s industrial future—together.
